Missing Griffin siblings found; father in custody

GRIFFIN, Ga. -- Griffin Police say two missing siblings have been found and their father has been taken into custody.

Investigators said 37-year-old Kenneth Greg Owens' children, 11-year-old Kenneth Luke and 9-year-old Kaden, were court-ordered into DFCS custody, but their father did not turn them over. They hadn't been seen since Aug. 28 before surrendering on Tuesday.

Investigators said that officers from a special investigations unit made contact with Owens, who then surrendered.

The two boys are in DFCS custody.

Owens is charged with kidnapping and interference with child custody.
