Elderly man with dementia missing from Clayton County found

UPDATE: Will Davis has been located.


JONESBORO, Ga. -- Police are hoping the public can help bring a missing elderly man home safely.

Will Davis was reported missing on Tuesday after he walked away from his home in the 9600 block of Carey Lane in Jonesboro, Georgia. He was last seen around 5:30 p.m.

Clayton County Police said that Davis is an 81-year-old black male who is about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing blue pants, a blue windbreaker jacket and a green hat. Police are concerned that dementia may be a contributing factor to Davis's disappearance.

Anyone with information on his location is urged to call 911 or Detective K. Green at 770-477-3659.
