Missing Ohio teen believed to be in metro Atlanta

ATLANTA -- The Miamisburg, Ohio, Police Department is asking for the public's help as they search for a 16-year-old boy last seen in Atlanta early Wednesday morning.

They said Sam Estep was seen at about midnight on Carroll Drive in a black Ford Focus with Ohio license plate GXB 3754.

He's described as a white male, 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he left his home in Miamisburg, Ohio, near Dayton, Tuesday morning. When he was last seen in Miamisburg, he was wearing a black t-shirt and basketball shorts.

Dayton TV station WDTN says Estep is a junior at Bishop Fenwick High School in Warren County, Ohio, and did not show up for classes on Tuesday, which led his parents to contact police.

Bishop Fenwick principal Andy Barczak told WDTN that school officials contacted parents to let them know what was going on, and asked the students for any information that may be helpful in locating Estep.

Anyone with information about Estep's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Michael Aiken with the Miamisburg Police Department at 937-847-6621.
