FBI: 'Bandana bandit' bank robber arrested

She's still on the run.

A bank robber who hit multiple banks in Georgia as well as one in Tennessee has finally been arrested, authorities said.

Christian Ware, an 18-year-old from Memphis, Tenn., was taken into custody by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents on Friday. Tremmell Adams, a 30-year-old man from Kennesaw, Georgia was also arrested. As of this writing, the two have been charged with two out of six bank robberies. More charges are expected.

The FBI worked closely with the Atlanta Metro Major Offender (AMMO) Task Force in order to solve the robberies.

Announcement of the arrests came from David J. LeValley, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, in conjunction with Erika Shields, Police Chief, Atlanta PD.

The robberies began in mid-June with the last one taking place in early July. Ware and Adams's heists went without incident. A timeline of the events is below.

Friday, June 16, 2017 - 3:25 p.m.: a lone black female entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 602 Roswell Street N.E., Marietta, Georgia, and, after approaching a teller, presented a demand note and announced a robbery.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

Monday, June 26, 2017: - 4:26 p.m.: a lone black female entered the PNC Bank, located at 5640 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia, and, after approaching a teller, presented a demand note and announced a robbery.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

Wednesday, June 28, 2017: a lone black female entered the Chase Bank, located at 2002 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, Georgia, and presented a demand note announcing a robbery.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robbery departed the bank without further incident.

Thursday, June 29, 2017 - 11:55 a.m.: a lone black female with dyed red hair entered the SunTrust Bank, located at 4323 Ringgold Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and announced a robbery via a demand note.  In spite of the threat contained in the note, the teller did not give the robber money and the robber demanded the note back and departed the bank without incident.

Saturday, July 8, 2017: a lone black female entered the Chase Bank, located at 2350 Cheshire Bridge Road, Atlanta, Georgia, and attempted a bank robbery. No monies were taken and the individual departed the bank without incident.

Saturday, July 8, 2017 - 10:40 a.m.: a lone black female entered the Navy Federal Credit Union, located at 1300 Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw, Georgia, and presented a demand note announcing a robbery.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.
