Hurricane Matthew impacts hot car death trial

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- As Hurricane Matthew moves closer to Georgia, the Glynn County court canceled the Ross Harris hot car death trial for Thursday and Friday.

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners has called for a voluntary evacuation for the St. Simons, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, and Little St. Simons Island, low lying areas, and mobile homes that is effective immediately.

The effects of Hurricane Matthew are expected to be felt in the county beginning Thursday night.
