BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- A Cobb County father accused of intentionally killing his son now sits in a jail 5 hours away from metro Atlanta awaiting the start of his trial.
Deputies escorted Ross Harris to the Glynn County jail in Brunswick. He had a new mug shot taken when he went through proccessing.
Jury selection begins Monday.
Harris is accused of leaving his 22-month-old son, Cooper, in a hot SUV to die.
The trial started in Cobb County in Spring of 2016 but after nearly a month of questioning jurors, the judge ruled there was no way to find an impartial panel in metro Atlanta.
11Alive will have a crew in Brunswick for the entire trial offering gavel-to-gavel coverage.
