Six more jurors added to Ross Harris murder trial pool

6 more potential jurors in Ross Harris Trial

BRUNSWICK, GA -- Six more jurors have been added to the pool in the Ross Harris murder trial.

The Cobb County father is accused of leaving his son Cooper in a hot car to die.

Ultimately, the judge wants a pool of 42 to 50 jurors before letting the attorneys make their final picks.

The trial was moved to Brunswick in hopes of finding an impartial jury. We were in Cobb County last spring when, after culling 42 potential jurors, the judge granted a change in venue.

All parties are pleased with how things are progressing.

It keeps coming down to two questions – what do the potential jurors know about the case, and can they make the state prove the facts.

And if they came in with a formed opinion, can they set that aside and listen only to the evidence presented.

Some can, and some just cannot.

Two jurors were excused after it was discovered they were 70 years old. By law, you are not required to serve on a jury once you reach that age.
