Boutique gives free gowns to military brides

ROSWELL, Ga. -- Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique in Roswell will once again team up with Brides Across America to give free wedding gowns to soldiers and women who are engaged to military members.

The gown giveaway will take place Monday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon.

To qualify, a woman and/or her fiancé must be active duty military, either currently deployed or with a scheduled deployment in the near future. Participating brides must also have a wedding planned for the next 18 months. Learn all the qualifications for the gown giveaway.

Wedding Angels owner Jacqueline Westney said more than 100 gowns in various sizes and colors will be available. Bridal consultants will help participants choose their perfect dresses.

Since joining the Brides Across America movement in 2008, Wedding Angels has given away more than 650 gowns, according to Westney.

Wedding Angels is located at 395 South Atlanta Street.
