SAVANNAH, Ga. -- A morning news anchor for a local station Savannah was killed in an early Sunday morning accident, the station announced.
Don Logana with WTOC died in a collision in Jasper County, according to reports from 11Alive's news partners WSAV.
WTOC released a short statement on Logana's death on their website and social media accounts, writing: "We have heavy hearts in the WTOC newsroom this morning. We lost one of our very own, Don Logana. He passed away in an early morning car accident. Please keep us and the Logana family in your thoughts and prayers as we try to grasp this devastating news."
