Woman seriously injured in DeKalb house fire

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- A 60-year-old woman is in critical condition after being rescued from a burning DeKalb County house.

The one-alarm fire broke out at around 6:30 a.m. at a house in the 5400 block of Stonehaven Way.

DeKalb County Fire Capt. Eric Jackson said six people were home at the time. One was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The extent of her injuries is not immediately known.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
