DULUTH, Ga. (AP) -- Acting on an anonymous tip, Gwinnett County police found 1,718 pounds of marijuana they say is worth more than $7.7 million in a house near Duluth, an Atlanta suburb.

Police spokesman Cpl. David Schiralli said after getting a warrant, narcotics officers found numerous bundles of marijuana in the July 17 raid in a room at the house at 4042 Sugar Mill Drive.

The only occupant of the house, 47-year-old Viviano Aguilar, was arrested on a marijuana trafficking charge.
