The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Thursday it's opening up the entire National Mall to the public on Inauguration Day so people who don't have tickets can witness the event, at least from afar.
The survey results indicated enthusiasm among Atlanta residents for Barack Obama and his 2008 election win.
Obama's inauguration is scheduled for January 20th.
Shortly after he was elected, hotel rooms in the Washington, D.C. area were almost completely booked, and many hotels were charging high rates for remaining rooms.
A number of Atlanta tour groups have begun offering packages for those interested in attending the inauguration.
11Alive News is sending a team of journalists to Washington D.C. to cover the inauguration.
