ATLANTA - If you are bored this weekend, it won't be because there's nothing to do or the weather is just bad. So, check this check our list out and get out to have some fun!

From arts to crafts and horse to dinosaurs, there are plenty of events to meet your needs:

The drought is over, so why not go take to the water... lilies that is. Monet's Water Lilies exhibit at the High Museum goes into its second weekend. Also, the High is helping the kids to make a good Impression(ism) by offering a "Flower Power" class every Friday and Saturday afternoons in June.

For some art that's a little more modern: SCAD-Atlanta presents a Split Level of Consciousness, A Group Show at Underground Atlanta in the Upper Exchange.

But if you actually wanted to celebrate the water without the art, you can always head to Garrard Landing Park which is the site of the 7th Annual Back to the Chattahoochee. The 8 mile race course lanches from the park and ends at the Roswell's Riverside Park. Live music, food and family activities also accompany the day's events.

Of course, you could just travel down south to Cordele, Ga. for the Watermelon Days Festival kicking off a week-long celebrate of Citrullus lanatus Sunday. This is the 59th year that the celebration has been going on down there.

The 2009 Wheelbarrow Festival hosted by Atlanta's Reynoldstown Community rolls through the heart of the neighborhood Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Music, parades, crafts, and other family friendly events dominate the fourth annual event.

BK FamFestSM ATLANTA hits the Georgia World Congress Center (it's in Building C, just figured I'd tell you since that place is HUGE!) with games, giveaways and live entertainment.

Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta is asking Exploring Trees Inside and Out starting Saturday. Children can climb a larger than life tree and explore a forest canopy.

The Atlantic Station Market continues this weekend showcasing local artists, craftsmen and vendors. This weekend, they also have the Kraft Bagel-fuls tour stopping by to make sure you get a good taste.

Tons of live music choices dominate the performances around town this weekend:

It's Miley! Okay, maybe not appearing or performing, but expect computers to crash and long lines to form around Philips Arena Saturday at 10 a.m. as tickets for Miley Cyrus with Metro Station go on sale for their November 29 show.

And when the dust settles, Keith Urban and Taylor Swift (and friend of Miley Cyrus... Don't ask me how I know that) will take the stage at Philips Arena.

KC & The Sunshine Band takes the stage Saturday at the Mable House Amphitheatre Because That's The Way (uh-huh, uh-huh) You Like It (uh-huh, uh-huh).

The SunTrust Concerts in the Garden series kicks off Friday on the Great Lawn of the Atlanta Botanical Garden Friday evening.

The Chastain Amphitheatre kicks the weekend off Friday with The Fray and rounds out the weekend Sunday with the Gipsy Kings.

It's time to "get back to where you once belong" at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater Saturday with the Original Beatles Tribute Concert.

And while the Atlanta Braves are in Boston, there's still plenty of baseball and other sporting events for the fans:

The Yankees are coming to town... Okay, it's the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees, but still should be a good weekend series against the Gwinnett Braves. Friday fans can de-stress with a free stress ball, if you're one of the first 5,000 and the kids can run the bases Sunday afternoon.

The Rome Braves host the Charleston RiverDogs for a weekend series. The first 1,000 fans in attendance at the State Mutual Stadium Friday will get a beach towel, Saturday come check out the "Coolest Nerd," Myron Noodleman and Sunday is Romey's Rascals Day.

Take a trip the fastest memory lane in area as the Atlanta Motor Speedway presents 60's Muscle cars Show-N-Shine during their Friday Night Drags.

And for some drag races of a different speed, check out the Marietta Soap Box Debery in the Marietta High School parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

USA Judo 2009 Presidents Cup runs for two days of matches at the Gwinnett Convention Center.

Have a great weekend!
