ATHENS - Georgia Bulldog fans don't need another reason to party, they are apparently good at that already. The Princeton Review's annual list of top party schools is out, and the University of Georgia ranks 4th on that list.
The Bulldogs are apparently partying harder this year. The school rose three places on the list, from 7th on the review's list last year.
Penn State University is the nation's No. 1 party school. The school known partly for its football tailgate weekends and
fraternity and sorority scene snatched the title away from last
year's winner, the University of Florida, which finished second in
the 2009 Princeton Review survey of 122,000 students released
Monday.
It's the first time Penn State has finished first in the dubious
category. The school has been on the list the last seven years, and finished third in 2008.
The annual rankings also highlight the country's "Stone-Cold
Sober Schools." Brigham Young University in Utah topped that list
for the 12th straight year.
