ATLANTA -- It is hard to believe that summer is winding down, at least for the kids. As of Friday, August 7, 2009, 15 of the 26 major school districts will be back in-session.
Summer hot spots like Six Flags and White Water as of this weekend will only open on Saturday and Sundays (until October). Even Stone Mountain is switching gears with their Summer at the Rock! coming to a close.
Yes, sadly, this is the last weekend before young minds turn to spelling tests, mid-terms, CRCTs, and the dreaded pop quizzes. This is why we've put together an extensive list for you and your family, but if you are still in the world of dating (like me), then there also is plenty for you to do.

And even though the summer is winding down, the Boys of Summer aren't going anywhere, unless of course you mean a road game. This weekend its East meets West again, this time in Los Angles where the Dodgers try to beat our Atlanta Braves.
