JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -- Alcohol may be to blame for the death of a Johns Creek teenager found in his family's basement early Sunday morning.

Johns Creek police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting on Brooks Bridge Crossing in the Colony Glen subdivision around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, said Johns creek Spokesperson Rosemary Taylor.  They found 19-year-old Sergio Cortez-Garcia unconscious, but found no gunshot wounds or immediate trauma to his body.

Preliminary autopsy reports released to investigators from the Fulton County medical examiner states that he had a high blood-alcohol level in his body.  They are waiting on a full toxicology report before final determination as to the official cause of death.
