Former DeKalb County School Superintendent Crawford Lewis
DEKALB COUNTY, GA -- Embattled DeKalb County Superintendent Crawford Lewis stepped down Friday afternoon.
Lewis and the school board mutually agreed to a severance effective Friday. He would be relieved of all duties, but his salary and benefits would continue for an additional four months for a total of $85,000.
In connection with the separation, Lewis has agreed to cooperate with the board in any legal action he may be associated with.
