CARROLLTON, Ga. -- The University of West Georgia has recently updated their tailgating policies and procedures to increase safety at sporting events.
Senior Associate Athletic Director Eddie Duffey said, "Knowing where to go, what you can bring and what you need to do ahead of time makes the entire experience more enjoyable for everyone."
The new policies affect alcohol consumption during and before games, with new rules on how, when and where to have them. There are new requirements for students and student groups, and rish management practices.
Along with alcohol restriction updates, changes have also been made to help maintain a respectful tailgating environment, revised locations, and general guidelines for clean-up and food.
