Thanks to almost eight inches of rain since January first, Lake Lanier levels are now at the highest they've been in almost two years. What's more impressive is that just two months ago on December 15th, the Lake was at its lowest point in four years.
That means we've gained almost 10 feet of water since that point. Be that as it may, we still have a little over five feet to go before we make it to full pool. However, given that March is typically our second wettest month of the year (July being first n that list), we may just hit that goal for the start of summer.
