According to the Gwinnett County Detention Center police report, White was taken in, booked and posted bond around 5:30 a.m. for $168.
White was pulled over Tuesday morning for exceeding the 65 m.p.h. speed limit on I-85 north bound, just north of Old Peachtree Road in Duluth.
The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department website showed that White had an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation for illegal window tint, which was issued on Feb. 17, 2013. He was then placed under arrest.
In a statement regarding White's arrest, the Atlanta Falcons said: "We are aware of the incident involving Roddy White. We anticipate this will be resolved shortly and we will have no further comment at this time."
The 6-foot, 211-pound receiver caught 63 passes for 711 yards and three touchdowns during the 2013 season.
White, who was drafted by Atlanta in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, has compiled more than 9,500 yards and 55 touchdowns during his nine seasons with the Falcons.
