ATLANTA, Ga – The two teenage brothers accused of killing a man at a southwest Atlanta gas station are set to make their next court appearance on Thursday.
Isaac McDaniel, 15, and Charlie McDaniel, 16, are charged with the murder of 50-year-old Anthony Brooks.
Police said the shooting happened Nov. 10 outside a Shell station on Campbellton Road.
Authorities believe the suspects got into an argument with the victim, which then led to the shooting. The brothers turned themselves in a day after the incident.
The two face a number of counts, including participation in criminal street gang activity, malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by an individual under the age of 18 years old.
A Fulton County judge has ruled there is probable cause to charge the brothers in Brooks’ murder.
