Here are the Top 5 Labor Day events in Atlanta.
The 30th annual Dragon Con will play host to all things pop culture. One of it's biggest attractions, the Dragon Con Parade, will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. Thousands of people will take to the streets to walk in and watch the annual Dragon Con Parade.
The parade will begin at Peachtree Street and Linden Avenue and head south before coming to an end between the Hyatt and Marriott hotels.

Atlanta Black Gay Pride, the country's leading LGBTQ annual pride celebration, is gearing up for their annual celebration during the Labor Day holiday weekend. The festivities began on August 30 and will run through Sept. 5. The cultural event will highlight market and food vendors, live performances, entertainment, educational forums, prizes and giveaways, all of which bring together the spirit of community, pride and vision.
College football is back! Saturday, Sept. 3, the Georgia Bulldogs will face off against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome. Before the start of the game, fans can explore Tailgate Town in the West Plaza between the Georgia Dome and the Georgia World Congress Center Hall C from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can also find the Coca Cola Fan Zone inside the Georgia World Congress Center Hall C1-C2 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are required for the Fan Zone and can be purchased at the door for $15. Entry is free for those with tickets to the game.

Every Labor Day weekend, the AJC Decatur Book Festival draws tens of thousands of book lovers to the historic Decatur Square. This year's event will feature new tracks, world-class authors and illustrators, and family-friendly festivities, all with the goal of giving attendees an unparalleled experience.
Callaway Garden's 18th annual Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place from Sept. 2 until Sept. 5. Festivities will kickoff with "the extraordinary Friday Night Balloon Glow." Attendees will be able to both watch hot air balloons fly through the sky or ride in a basket as part of a tethered balloon ride. Saturday is filled with family-friendly events, including live music, beach activities, a Kids Zone and much more.
