Save-A-Blade is a new razor sharpener. It promises to save you money by making old, dull razors like new again. The maker also claims you can get up to 200 smooth shaves from a single blade.

Several men wrote 11Alive.com and asked Karyn Greer to give Save-A-Blade a closer look. She left it and some directions with our product tester. He says he spends a lot of money on blades and wanted to try the product.

After two weeks, he said Save-A-Blade didn't seem to keep his blades sharp and the razors started pulling on his skin. Our product tester says he didn't notice any difference using Save-A-Blade verses just drying off his razors. He gave it two thumbs down.

The company says it stands 100% behind its product. If you are not satisfied, you can return your Save-A-Blade for a full refund. A company spokeswoman also says every return is a learning experience.
