ATLANTA – The cousin of Bobbi Kristina Brown was arrested after a traffic stop early Monday in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, an officer pulled over Jerod Wallace Brown-Carter, 27, on Howell Mill Road around 2 a.m. after the officer said he detected "the odor of marijuana" emitting from the GMC Yukon Brown was driving.
When asked by the officer if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, the driver responded, "No, but we just came from the studio."
The driver told the officer that he had a Georgia license, but didn't have it on him. He said his name was Jahraim Wallace Reid. Officers later determined that his name was actually Jerod Wallace Brown-Carter, he was not licensed and had an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.
Brown was arrested on charges of driving while unlicensed and false representations to police.
Last month, Jerod Brown told 11Alive that Bobbi Kristina Brown's family isn't allowing her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, to visit her in the hospital. Watch his interview.
Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in a medically-induced coma since being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell home on Jan. 31. Last week, she was reportedly transferred from Emory University Hospital to a nearby rehab center. She remains on life support.
Jerod Brown released a song called "Pray for BK."
