ATLANTA – Chris “Ludacris” Bridges loves children and following an event on Wednesday, he proved just how enthusiastic he is when he joined his wife and mother to raise awareness for child hunger.
The Ludacris Foundation partnered with Feeding America and the Atlanta Community Food Bank to shed light on Hunger Action Month.
Ludacris, along with his wife Eudoxie Mbouguiengue and mother Roberta Bridges, served an after-school meal to more than 70 children and helped with a healthy-eating activity led by registered dietitians from the Food Bank at Carrie Steele-Pitts Home in Atlanta.
Every September, Feeding America uses Hunger Action Month as an opportunity to raise awareness about families and children who might not know where their next meal is coming from.
The Atlanta Community Food Bank is a member of the Feeding America network and helps provide fresh food and produce to local Atlanta agencies such as the Carrie Steele-Pitts Home.
Since 2001, The Ludacris Foundation has been helping youth help themselves and has invested more than 10,000 hours in devoted service to youth across the nation and specifically in the Atlanta community.
