Macon teen walks two miles home with bullet lodged in his chest

MACON, Ga – A teenager says he walked to his home over the weekend with a bullet lodged in his chest.

The 16-year-old told police he and a friend were walking home when someone shot him.

He says he simply walked back home, which was nearly two miles away, and his mother took him to the hospital.

He is reportedly in stable condition.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office does not have any information on a suspect in the shooting.
