PHILADELPHIA -- Officials have confirmed that two people were injured after two trains collided south of Philadelphia early Friday morning.
NBC Philadelphia reports that two people were taken to Crozer Chester Hospital for injuries that emergency responders called minor .
Both trains were moving during the accident - one of which was on the way from Quebec, Canada to Atlanta.
The trains were carrying goods and producer but the Associated Press reports there were no hazardous materials on board.
It hasn't been determined why the two trains were on the same track traveling toward each other.
AP reports that investigators are working to determine how fast the two trains were traveling when they collided.
