Dunwoody diaper changing police officers honored

Two Dunwoody police officers who gained national attention for coming to the rescue of two infants are being honored Monday night.

Officers Anthony Stallings and Mark Stevens were responding to a shoplifting call at a local Walmart last month.

The criminals were captured, but they left behind two babies, who were in desperate need of changing.

The officers, who are fathers themselves, went into action, on diaper duty.

Another officer snapped a picture of Officer Stallings with one of the babies. The photo went viral, gaining them national attention.

Monday night, the Dunwoody City Council will honor Stallings and Stevens for going above and beyond the call of duty.
