Police: Armed men chase woman, try to pull her from car

Men accused of following teen in truck

SPALDING COUNTY, Ga.-- Investigators have released pictures of two men suspected of an attempted attack on a woman on the road.

They're working to identify two white males who the victim said tried to take her out of her car.

The woman told police she was driving on Hamil Road in east Spalding County on the morning of September 9 when she noticed a white truck following her. When she stopped at the intersection of Old Atlanta Road and West McIntosh Road, the driver of the truck got out and tried to open her door.
She kept driving. At the next intersection, the man approached her car again. This time, he had something in his hand "that was possibly a gun", according to investigators.
She escaped to a nearby church. When she pulled in, the man kept driving.
Surveillance video captured an image of the truck.  It's described as a small white truck, possibly a Ford Ranger, with black bumpers and chrome wheels. The woman described the truck driver as a heavyset man in his 20's with strawberry blond hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division of the Spalding County Sheriff's office at (770) 467-4282.
