Judge denies temporary restraining order in South Fulton cityhood vote

Judge allows South Fulton cityhood vote

ATLANTA -- A judge has denied a restraining order that would have forced the end of all votes on the proposed cityhood of a large portion of south Fulton County.

The restraining order would have forced voting for the referendum to cease temporarily - even as early voting is already well underway.

Judge Eleanor Ross denied the temporary restraining order filed as part of Davis v. Fulton County Board of Registration and elections.

Early voting will continue through Friday, Nov. 4.  Any voter registered in the county can vote at any Fulton County early voting site.
