Runoff In The Atlanta Mayor's Race
Tuesday, December 1, 2009

The map below shows each of the city precincts and how they voted. By clicking on a red or blue tab, you will be able to see how voters in each precinct voted. The data was gathered by 11Alive News crews stationed throughout the city.

The crews went to each precinct and obtained the publicly available results and called that data back into 11Alive's studios, where data was collated, resulting in the data behind the map.

This allowed 11Alive News to obtain data well ahead of other news organizations in the city, who mostly relied on data from the Fulton County Board of Elections and from the Associated Press.

The method that 11Alive News used allowed viewers to obtain a visual and quantitative picture of the voting patterns across the entire city.

To take a look at any particular precinct, click on the corresponding pin link in the map below. At the bottom of the map is a link to open a larger version of the map in a separate window.
