Man Takes 'Singing With Myself' To Whole New Level

Corey Vidal's job is to make entertaining videos for YouTube -- and get paid for it. The Canadian artist's latest endeavor, though, will make you wonder just how in the world he pulled it off.

Vidal, 21, is from Ontario, Canada, and is an offical YouTube Partner, which means the site pays him to make videos. He is also a dancer and choreographer, and has been dancing since he was twelve. He is also a singer, but his latest video, a tribute to musician John Williams, required a little more than his usual talents.

Enter a capella group Moosebutter -- "we sound like baldness feels", their Web site claims. Vidal and Moosebutter got together and choreographed an entire four-minute-plus performance to make it look like Vidal himself was singing all four parts.

It's pretty convincing.

"The video was challenging to memorize," Vidal said. "Not only to break down and remember all four parts perfectly, but to try and do it so well that people wouldn't know it wasn't real. We definitely succeeded at this."

The video -- which Vidal said took more than a month to make -- received 10,000 hits in 48 hours, and it has been passed around the internet by Star Wars fans, music fans, a capella fans, and fans of cool YouTube stuff.

Vidal has dozens of videos on his YouTube channel page, http://www.youtube.com/coreyvidal, including several instructional dance videos, interviews, and a few other musical presentations.
