CLEARWATER, Fla. -- A young woman in Florida is facing charges after setting fire to a car she thought was her ex-boyfriend's.
Security video caught the 19-year-old Carmen Chamblee fanning flames in the trunk of a white sedan parked on the side of a roadway back on Aug. 28.
Police released security video of the incident and asked the public for help finding her. Witnesses told police they saw Chamblee leaving the scene of the crime on a bike. Days later, a Pinellas County Sheriff's deputy spotted the young woman near Clearwater, Fla.
Police said Chamblee thought the car belonged to her boyfriend, but it wasn't.
Chamblee was arrested and taken to the Pinellas County Jail, where she now faces second-degree arson charges.
