(USA Today) -- The tech industry was not spared in a list featuring the most hated companies in the U.S.
The Atlantic magazine has put together a list of 19 American companies consumers loathe the most, and several tech notables made the cut.
Cable companies ranked very highly, as Time Warner, Comcast and Charter Communications claimed the third, fourth and fifth spots respectively. Cox Communications and Dish Network also make appearances.
The list was not friendly to social networks, either. Both MySpace (#9) and Facebook (#10) were represented, based on criticisms about privacy issues.
Also appearing: AT&T, at No. 14. The Atlantic cites the wireless carrier's numerous complaints about dropped calls for their ranking.
Several Atlanta area companies made the grade, with Delta Air Lines clocking in at No. 2; AT&T Mobility at No. 14 and Cox Communications at No. 17.
