Chasity Jones was formally charged Tuesday. She faces 13 counts, including vehicular homicide, DUI and violating the Spencer Pass Law, otherwise known as the Georgia Move-Over Law, which requires drivers to change lanes if they are driving adjacent to a stopped emergency vehicle.
Officials said Jones was driving drunk when she hit and killed 46-year-old Gail Thomas on the Brookwood Interchange on January 24.
The case against Jones now moves to Fulton County Superior Court.
