ATLANTA -- Online registration for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race opens at 7 a.m. Thursday.
Participants can register for an online lottery at ajc.com/peachtree.

Those who want to participate in the July 4 race must go through the lottery registration process, which runs through Thursday, March 22 at 11:59 p.m. Entrants will receive an email by Monday, March 26, informing whether or not they were selected for the 2012 race.
