ATLANTA -- A fuel tanker overturned while exiting Interstate 20, shutting down all northbound lanes of Fulton Industrial Boulevard Thursday morning.
The tanker overturned shortly before 10:15 a.m. while leaving the ramp from westbound I-20 to Fulton Industrial Boulevard.
Fulton County Police spokeswoman Cpl. Kay Lester said the tanker was carrying 7,500 gallons of diesel fuel, and a large amount of spilled on the road.
No lanes of I-20 were affected, but the exit ramp from westbound I-20 to Fulton Industrial Boulevard is closed. Fulton Industrial was closed between I-20 and Wendell Drive.
The driver of the tanker was treated at the scene and released, Lester said.
