RIVERDALE, Ga. -- Police ask for help in the search for a missing mentally disabled teen.

Nineteen-year-old Lekelia Banks walked away from Southern Regional Medical Center at around 8 p.m. Thursday, according to Clayton County Police Sgt. Tracy Jakes. That's on Upper Riverdale Road near Tara Boulevard in Riverdale.

Jakes said Banks has sickle cell anemia, diabetes, and the mental capacity of a seven year old. She is described as a 5-feet-3-inch dark complexioned black female, weighing 100 pounds. She has brown eyes, and wears her hair in a long black braid.

She was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, brown striped capri pants, blue flip flops and an Army fatigue hat.

Police said Banks likes to hang out at convenience stores, particularly QuikTrip and CVS.

Clayton County police ask that anyone with information on Banks contacts them at 770-477-3648, or Detective T. Lewis at 678-610-4711 or 678-951-4072.
