LONDON -- A Paralympic swimmer from Augusta has won Georgia's first medals of the 2012 Games.
Lantz Lamback, 26, took home the bronze in the 100m freestyle on Monday. On Tuesday, Lamback picked up a gold medal for winning the 50m freestyle with a Paralympic record time of 27.84 seconds.

Lamback, who has cerebral palsy, won gold in the 100m backstroke at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
