ATLANTA, Ga. -- A 28-year-old man was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Interstate 75 northbound on Tuesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the man was attempting to run across the expressway when he was hit. Georgia State Patrol say he was a passenger in a car that had been stopped.
The accident happened just south of the Moores Mill Road exit.
According to officials, the man ran into the path of a northbound Buick, was hit and thrown onto the windshield.
Grady EMS are en route to the scene. The condition of the victim is unclear.
