LILBURN, Ga. -- To address resident concerns on nights and weekends, the City of Lilburn has added a part-time code enforcement officer to the Planning and Economic Development Department.

Paul Calcaterra joins the department, bringing ten years of experience as a Gwinnett County Government Building Inspector and a code enforcement officer for the City of Chamblee.

According to Nikki Young of the City of Lilburn, as a code enforcement officer, Calcaterra will address violations that impact property values and quality of life, including storage of trash and junk vehicles, illegal parking and exterior home maintenance.

"This proactive approach will help Lilburn educate the public and enforce ordinances at times when, in the past, staff has not been on duty," Planning and Economic Development Director Doug Stacks said.
