Overturned bus cleared from Downtown Connector

ATLANTA -- A 15-passenger bus tipped over on Interstate 75/85 Thursday morning, causing major traffic problems for commuters.

Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Chata Spikes said the bus fell onto its side on northbound I-75/85 near eastbound Interstate 20.

The scene was cleared shortly after 7 a.m., but the accident is still causing some heavy delays.

Drivers are advised to take Capitol Avenue as an alternate route.
