Michael Elliot Cash (Paulding County Sheriff’s Office)
PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. -- Richard Crankshaw was flown to an Atlanta hospital with serious injuries after being shot in the face during a Domestic Dispute on Saturday evening.
According to the Paulding County Sheriff's office, Crankshaw, 33 tried to intervene a dispute between Michael Elliot Cash, 35, and a female, name unknown. The two men began to fight, and Cash shot Crankshaw in the face with a handgun.
Deputies had responded to the Domestic Dispute around 8:40 p.m., on Trailwood Gap in Douglasville, Ga. When they arrived, deputies were able to get details of what happened and immediately arrested Cash.
Cash is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.
