ATLANTA, Ga. -- A man was shot in the neck in SE Atlanta on Monday night.
According to police, the shooting happened on the 500 block of McDonough Boulevard near the United State Penitentiary.
Officials say the man is alert and conscious.
No further information has been released, at this time.
