(WXIA) - The Atlanta Falcons clinched the NFC South title over the weekend, along with a number of AFC teams.
In the AFC, the Texans, Patriots and Broncos picked up the divisional titles in the AFC South, East and West divisions respectively through wins over the weekend.
If the season were to end today, the Falcons would be the top seed in the NFC and have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. In addition, the Falcons would have a first-week playoff bye along with the San Francisco 49ers from the NFC West. The remaining NFC divisional leaders - the Green Bay Packers in the North and the New York Giants in the NFC East would round out the winners. The NFC's Wild Card teams would be the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks.
In the AFC, the Texans and Patriots would enjoy a first-round bye while the other divisional winners would be the Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts would be the Wild Card teams from the AFC.
