Debris believed to be from missing F-16 found in Adriatic Sea

(WXIA) - Reuters reported Tuesday that wreckage believed to be from a missing US Air Force F-16 had been located in the Adriatic Sea.

They said the debris was found floating in the sea and thought to be from the jet.

The missing plane had departed from Aviano Air Base in Italy on a training mission Monday and was reported missing at about 2 p.m. Eastern Time.

The pilot has not been located, and his condition is not known.
