11Alive Chief Meteorologist Mike Francis said that the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center is considering placing North Georgia under a "Moderate Risk" for severe weather on Wednesday.
This indicates that we're looking at a higher probability of severe weather in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
