ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Gold Coast Salads has expanded an earlier recall of its Blue Crab Spread to other products sold in stores across the Northeast and Southeast states.

The company is recalling its Blue Crab Spread, Lobster Spread, Smoked Salmon Spread and Lobster and Shrimp Spread products on fears of Listeria contamination.

The Blue Crab Spread being recalled is coded EXP 2/14/13 B.
The Maine Lobster Spread being recalled is coded EXP 2/16/13 LA.
The Lobster and Shrimp Spread being recalled is coded EXP 2/23/13 L&S1 and EXP 3/30/13 L&S1.
The Smoked Salmon Spread being recalled is coded 3/10/13 S2.

According to Gold Coast, the products were produced in December and January and distributed to stores in the Northeastern and Southeastern states.

In Metro Atlanta, Gold Coast products are sold in BJ's Wholesale Clubs, Sam's Club stores and Costco stores. BJ's has telephoned club members that, according to their records, have purchased the spreads, to inform them of the recall.

Consumers are advised to return the products to stores where they were purchased. Questions about the recall are being directed to Gold Coast's corporate headquarters in Naples, FL at 239-513-0430.
