(WXIA) -- The ramp from Interstate 75 northbound to I-285 westbound near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport was blocked by an overturned tractor-trailer early Tuesday afternoon.
Some traffic is being allowed by on the right shoulder as crews work to clear the ramp.
Traffic is backed up on I-75 to beyond Forest Parkway. Motorists are advised to avoid the area. A good alternate for traffic coming from the far south suburbs is to take I-675 to I-285.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the roadway is expected to remain blocked until at least 2 p.m.
