ATLANTA -- Atlanta police took one man into custody for questioning after a shooting and crash on Northside Drive near I-75.
Investigators spent the overnight hours working to find other people and vehicles involved.
Police received a 911 call just after 1 a.m. Tuesday from someone who reported hearing shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found three vehicles involved in a crash.
"Once the shots were fired, two occupants in a silver vehicle tried to flee," said Atlanta Police Captain Tim Peek. "They rolled into the roadway and struck an innocent vehicle traveling up Northside Drive."
Capt. Peek said it appears no one was hurt in the crash or shooting.
He said the gunfire started during a drug deal in the parking lot of a Shell station.
